LG and US operator Sprint have announced two new fashion phones for the American market, the LG Lotus Elite and LG Rumor Touch, both successors to previous models adding touch capabilities.

The LG Lotus Elite features dual 2.4-inch QVGA screens, microSD up to 32GB, dedicated shortcut keys, a 2-megapixel camera and camcorder and full QWERTY keyboard.

The LG Rumor Touch gets a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera and camcorder, microSD card slot up to 32GB and built-in GPS.

The red square flip LG Lotus Elite will be available 10 January for $99.99 with a new 2-year service agreement and $50 mail-in rebate, while those that want to hang on for the black model will need to wait until 14 Feb.

Availability for the LG Rumor Touch is vague - it's due in the first quarter - and pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.
