Kodak's flaghip compact camera for 2010 has been announced at CES, with the debut of a new touchscreen-enabled digital camera, the "Slice", which we've grabbed hands-on pics of.

With a 3.5-inch touch display, a 14-megapixel sensor and 5x zoom lens, the Slice can capture 720p HD video and store up to 5000 images that you can then search through via tags or face recognition.

Due to hit shop shelves in black, nickel and "radish", it's incoming in April for $349.95 or the £300 here in the UK.

In use and the prototype was incredibly buggy suggesting there is still plenty of work to be done before this is "retail" ready.

We will keep you posted.
