PHOTOS: Google Nexus One gets torn apart

It's only been announced for a day, but that hasn't stopped the boys and girls at iFixit from getting their hands on a Nexus One to take apart so we can see what's inside.

And the result? Lots of pretty colours it seems as well as a wireless n chipset over the iPhone's wireless g offering and an FM transmitter, although that isn't currently enabled in the Android software version.

Other gems include the fact that the Broadcom BCM4329 chip in the Nexus is the same chip found in Apple's newest (3rd generation) iPod touch, and also has Bluetooth and FM transceiver functionality.

Let us know if you plan to dismantle yours as soon as it arrives through the door.
