Careful where you point that thing, as the Nude It app for iPhone promises to turn your iPhone into a handheld device that shows people bare naked.

Described as a "funny Augmented Reality application for the iPhone that lets you see through clothes", it's created by Presselite, one of the leading augmented reality companies who should know better.

"Simply point your iPhone at a friend (less than 2 metres from you), and using Nude It scanning technology, you will see him or her totally nude", says the blurb.

Hit play on the video above to see a "demo", while the app is available now for $0.99 or 59p.
