Etymotic Research has launched the new hf3 headset with 3-button remote control, a Made-for-iPod/Works with iPhone version of its hf2 headset (pictured) boasting the same "exceptional" noise-isolation and audio clarity of the hf2.

Designed to work with the iPhone and all current iPod models, the hf3 brings the benefit of volume control while the 3-button remote control of the hf3 claims to make it "easier than ever for a user to pause, adjust and navigate through music tracks on a playlist while exercising, commuting or engaged in other activities".

Meanwhile iPhone users can make phone calls with the integrated high-sensitivity microphone and adjust call volume on the go. We're waiting on details of a UK launch so will keep you posted.
