Garmin launches VoiceStudio download

CES 2010: Record your own voice

5 January 2010 17:42 GMT / By Ben Crompton

Garmin has announced that it's launched a software download called VoiceStudio, which will enable you to put your own voice on your Garmin sat nav.

Giving a whole new meaning to the phrase "sick of the sound of your own voice" it could, however, remedy the monotonous drones of the standard voice or perhaps a previous ill-advised download.

The software can be used on your home PC and it apparently "only takes 15 minutes to record your phrases". So if you're an egomaniac or a would-be voice over man/woman, full download details can be found via this link.
