Toshiba mini NB305 netbook announced

In the States Toshiba has announced the launch of the mini NB305, the next generation of its netbook that offers the new Intel Atom N450 processor.

With a 10.1-inch "TruBrite" LED backlit display the claim for battery life is up to 11 hours and the new netbook boasts Windows 7 Starter, a full-size keyboard and full-size touchpad too.

The mini NB305 also gets a 250GB hard drive, one USB port with Tosh's "Sleep-and-Charge" tech as well as two standard USB ports, 1GB RAM, webcam, speaker, mic, card reader, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR on certain models.  

The mini NB305 will be available in two configurations. The mini NB305-N410 gets a textured "Java Brown", "Frost White" or a "Royal Blue" finish while the  mini NB305-N310 comes in "Black Onyx".

The Toshiba mini NB305 netbooks will go on sale in the US from January 12 from $349.99 to $399.99. There's no news on a UK launch just yet.
