In a few month's time, you’ll be able to get Skype on your TV thanks to news just announced that the VoIP company is teaming up with LG and Panasonic to see Skype built in to new internet connected televisions.

As well as one of the new TVs, those hoping to use the service will need an internet connection of at least 1Mbps and a TV-ready webcam - developed specially to work with your TV and with Skype - even if they only want to make voice calls.

Hit play on the video above to get Skype bods to explain the service in a little more detail and we'll keep you posted on developments.
