Garmin Oregon 450 and 450t outdoor GPS announced

Garmin has launched the Oregon 450 and 450t touchscreen, waterproof, handheld GPS devices with brighter screens designed for hikers, cyclists and trail runners.
    
Boasting a "Custom Maps" feature, the "Connect" functionality will let users upload, store and share their treks via a PC, and when out and about the devices can transfer info, such as waypoints or geocaches wirelessly to other units.

Complete with barometric altimeter and a microSD card slot, the 450 and 450t last up to 16 hours on two AA batteries. Pricing and availability is to be TBC.
