Guitar Hero: Van Halen appears on US shelves

Go ahead and jump

You hear that? That's the sound of a lot of very happy dads. They're happy because Guitar Hero: Van Halen, the third band-specific expansion for the Guitar Hero series, has gone on sale in the USA.

The game has 25 Van Halen tracks, along with 19 other songs from bands that have been inspired or worked with the group, including Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, The Offspring, Blink-182 and Queen.

In Europe, we're going to have to wait until 19 February 2010 to get hot for teacher. If you're in the States, though, you can pick it up right now - just in time for Christmas - on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Wii.
