Police called on 14-year-old gamer

Mother rings 911 over GTA at 2.30am

It's being reported that a Boston mother called the police on her 14-year-old son after she discovered him playing GTA at 2.30am on a Saturday morning.

Angela Mejia woke up to find the light on in her son's room. She marched in and unplugged the console, at which point an argument ensued. So she dialled 911, and a squad car arrived at the house with the cops managing to talk the boy into stopping the game.

"They were just like, chill out. Go to bed", said the boy, who hasn't been named. Angela Mejia said: "I called (police) because if you don't respect your mother, what are you going to do in your life?"

Is this a reasonable response, or is the mother utterly insane? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
