Asus Eee Pad packing Tegra graphics?

Rumour points to respectable gaming performance

23 December 2009 11:25 GMT / By Duncan Geere

We've previously covered the rumours that Asus' next project is an Eee Pad that'll be somewhere between 4- and 7-inches in size, with a combination of tablet PC and MID functions.

Well, the latest shipment of grain for the rumour mill is that the device will be packing the NVIDIA Tegra platform for its graphics oomph. It's not clear yet whether it'll be the first or second generation Tegra, but with launch not rumoured until March 2010, it's more likely to be the latter.

Word on what OS it'll be running, what kind of display it'll have and how much it'll cost is proving elusive, but we're keeping our eyes and ears peeled and will let you know as soon as we hear anything on that front.
