Countdown to Christmas: Up to 70% off at Play.com

Deals and gift ideas from around the Web

Sales seem to be two-a-penny at the moment, however one of note comes in the form of Play.com's "Biggest Ever", giving you up to 70% off certain products.

Usually when companies are citing such large reductions, the "tat alert"alarm should start ringing as you're usually faced with a whole host of bits and bobs of very little use. In fairness, however, in amongst the cheap plastic Play.com has some reasonable offers going.

Offers include the jOG body motion controller - compatible with your Wii for £6.99, the Sennheiser PX 200 for £29.99 and the Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray player for £139.99. All three come with free delivery and there is plenty more to choose from if you take a look around the site.

Bear in mind that all discounts are calculated from the original RRP so probably don't give a fair representation of the actual saving, but there's deals to be done if you're in the market.
