The latest Google "doodle" has appeared on the infamous homepage today and seems to celebrate the forthcoming festive period.

The doodle sees a postcard with what appears to be a palm tree covered in Christmas tree lights and when hovered over brings up "Holidays 2009" with a link through to another Google page that looks as if it might eventually be a visual list of all Christmas-themed doodles.
