Guinness offers planet-making Google Earth tool

18 December 2009 16:09 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Guinness has teamed up with Google Earth and Facebook to give everyone to the "chance to be the master of their own universe".

Using Google Earth tech, you can bring an imaginary 3D planet to life and unearth the chance to win Guinness prizes in the process.

Users can choose an area of land and create their own bespoke terrain, which can then be co-built or shared with friends through Facebook.

Each terrain originates from a diversity of real life locations including Brazil, Nepal, Japan and Australia and Canada.

Part of the current "bring it to life" ad campaign, if you already have Google Earth installed, you can head on over to Guinness now to get started.
