£300k Nintendo Wii "Supreme" revealed

Gold-smothering onslaught continues apace

£300k Nintendo Wii Supreme revealed

17 December 2009 9:29 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

It seems that until someone makes them stop, the Goldstriker team intend to bling their way across the spectrum of popular consumer electronics.

As well as attacking an iPhone with gold and diamonds and a similarly shiny end to three iPod touches, the team have now turned their sights to humble Wii.

The Nintendo Wii Supreme is another exclusive only-three-to-be-made project that sees the console smothered in 2,500 grams of 22 carat gold.

There's also 78 diamonds super-glued to the front buttons, in a package that will set you back £299,995.

The Nintendo Wii Supreme is now available from www.stuarthughes.com.

UPDATE: The PS3 Supreme has now been revealed, offering the same kind of gold'n-diamonds treatment as the Wii Supreme.

  • Oh sweet Jesus, do people really buy these things? You'd have to have a really gaudy living room for that to fit in well. Posted by samuelgibbs, United Kingdom
  • So... Immensely... Tacky. I feel the question cannot be stressed enough, "Oh sweet Jesus, do people really buy these things?"

You don't buy a £2 hamburger and put caviar on it. While the IDEA is one of elegance, it only works if you have no taste.
