Zune HD gets Twitter App

Microsoft Zune HD users are getting Twitter access from Wednesday so they can stay in touch with the social networking site while listening to their favourite tunes.

"Hey all, the Twitter app is slowly rolling out in the Marketplace, you'll start seeing it between now and early afternoon ^MS" the official Zune Twitter account posted on Wednesday. 

The announcement follows a successful roll out of Twitter on Microsoft's consumer entertainment device, the Xbox 360, and shows that the two products are slowly aligning more and more.

The Microsoft Zune HD MP3 player, that has already garnered rave reviews in the US, has yet to make it outside the US.
