The Carphone Warehouse has announced it will be offering the Nokia N900, just a day after it was revealed Vodafone will be getting the device in January.

While UK consumers can currently buy the device SIM-free direct from Nokia for £499, from 26 December they can also order it from www.carphonwarehouse.com.

The N900 will be available in Carphone Warehouse stores from 14 January and will be free for anyone signing up to a £35 a month contract with Vodafone on a 2-year tie-in.

The Nokia N900 can be pre-ordered via the Carphone Warehouse's website now.
