Readers not content with the idea of a portable digital radio that does nothing but allow you to tune into the radio might consider checking out a new MP3 DAB radio on the block from Oono (www.oono.co.uk).The MINIDAB, as it is called, might look like a first generation Apple iPod available in the now customary white or black, but claims to be one of the smallest and most lightweight handheld DAB units around.
Feature packed, the player offers DAB with FM radio, MP3 playback (via 128MB internal memory and an SD card slot that can take up to 2GB), Voice Recoring, Programmable Radio Recording, and a Built-In Speaker.
The unit can also record from other devices via a Line-In.
The MINIDAB is set to be launched in the UK later this year in June, although the company has yet to set a price for the device yet.
We will keep you posted. Audio, MP3 players
