The Beatles Rock Band hits million milestone

The Beatles: Rock Band has hit the milestone of 1 million sales across the globe.

The music game, that follows the career of the Fab Four and lets players make-believe play Beatles tunes, was launched across the world on 09/09/09.

"MTV Games and Harmonix are very pleased with the sales of our Rock Band titles and we expect to continue to see strong sales throughout the holidays across all of our titles", an MTV Games spokesperson told IndustryGamers.

"The Beatles: Rock Band has sold over 1 million units worldwide to date".

Meanwhile Harmonix has revealed that the Rock Band platform now offers over 1000 songs in total and has seen over 60 million songs downloaded.
