Google Mobile iPhone app updated

Available on the App Store now

A new version of Google's Mobile App for the iPhone has been unleashed into the wilds of the App Store. The app contains a whole host of speed and UI improvements, and also allows all users access to the "Bells and Whistles" menu options.

The big feature is the redesigned search results display, which Google says can now display more results at once. It also opens up results within the app, rather than shifting out to Safari, meaning that you get access to what you're after more quickly.

The Bells and Whistles menu options lets you make your Google Mobile App any colour you like, and can also access a "live waveform" setting for faster iPhones that displays a waveform when you use the voice search tool. The voice search tool can also be configured to match a particular regional accent.

The app is available to download from the App Store right now.
