There are two things that have become indispensable this week in my house. The first is the Right Move app for iPhone and the other is this new website.

We're looking for a new house, and as anybody will tell you, it can be a soul-destroying exercise. But armed with the iPhone and this bookmark, we're able to find houses and rule out areas we don't like, armed with the facts - not just gut instinct.

One Place takes an in-depth look at an area and tells you how the local services are performing.

A bit boring perhaps, but damn useful when you're looking for somewhere new to call home.
