Dell's new Adamo XPS is to be a John Lewis exclusive, available from the department store and online at www.johnlewis.com for Christmas.

Select John Lewis stores will be the only place in the UK to purchase the world's thinnest laptop, with Dell's UK site even pointing customers towards their nearest store.

Other Dell products will also be available in a deal between the two companies with other Dell items on sale from John Lewis, including the Studio 15 multimedia laptop, the Inspiron 14z and 15 laptops, and the Inspiron Mini 10 netbook.  

While in the States the Adamo XPS is available direct, and hopefully in time for Christmas, apparently this is the first time Dell products have been made available in a department store in the UK.

The Adamo XPS is due to go on sale from today (although it's not showing up on the John Lewis site as of around 10am) priced at £1750.
