The working man's Adamo XPS

Dell has announced the launch of the 13.3-inch Vostro V13 into its small business line of Vostro laptops.

A little like a business man's Adamo XPS, the V13 is slimline, as thin as 16.5mm in places and weighs in at around 1.6kg.

With an aluminium finish and reinforced zinc hinges, the V13 gets an Intel ULV processor, runs Windows 7, boasts up to 4GB RAM, a minimum 250GB hard drive and a 6-cell battery.

Features include webcam and microphone, 802.11g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile broadband as an option.

In the States, the Vostro V13 with Ubuntu Linux version 9.04 starts at $449, while the "from" price in the UK is £359 plus VAT.
