Orange has announced it will soon be offering the Case Mate Fuel Lite as a high street exclusive, describing it as an "attractive, protective, soft-touch case for the iPhone 3G and 3GS with a built-in battery charger".
The case-come-charger charges up via microUSB, while the iPhone itself can be charged directly using the standard USB charger if it is left in the Fuel Lite when charging.
Once a users' iPhone battery is running low, the Fuel Lite battery pack can be activated to boost the charge providing enough juice for an extra 2-hours talk time, 2 hours browsing, 2.5-hours video playback, 5-hours audio playback and up to 150 additional hours standby.
Available from the 10th, and priced at £39.50, the Fuel Lite is compatible with the iPhone 3G 8GB, the iPhone 3GS 16GB and the iPhone 3GS 32GB.
