Are you a big fan of cereal? Is your house full of boxes of cornflakes, Coco Pops and Ricicles? Or perhaps you're more of a muesli person... Well, whatever kind of massive cereal fan you are - there's now an iPhone game for you in the App Store.
It's called iLikeCereal!! and is a physics sim that closely models the interaction between fresh cow's milk and kelloggs' finest. It has "sweet" music, and localisations in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Croatian. Unfortunately, though, it's only sold 26 copies so far, in the 3 days it's been on sale.
Designer Nick Marroni told Pocket-lint: "We sold 26 copies. We weren't necessarily expecting instant great success, but damn". He then went on to explain that at least half of those sales were likely to have been to family and friends, and that not a single Spaniard or Nihonjin had enjoyed the localisations for them.
"We know that cereal's not the biggest thing outside North America, but it's almost like people haven't even heard of breakfast in some parts of the world", said Marroni. "In some countries, I believe we'd be legally obligated to commit seppuku right now".
The team plans upgrades for iLikeCereal!!, including an RPG edition titled iLikeCereal!! RPG. If you'd like to give it a shot before things get that far, then head on over to the App Store right now and bag yourself a copy.
