LG KG225 and KG220 arrive in the UK

LG unleashes two more basic models in the UK

While it may come as a surprise to those who live and breath gadgets 24/7, some people, just like the idea of a mobile phone that makes calls and nothing else.

With that in mind, LG has announced the arrival of the LG KG225 and KG220 camera phones in the UK.

The new tri-band entry-level clamshell handsets come with a VGA digital camera and video capabilities including built in flash and a 65k colour display.

However, the phones that are labelled the "Butterfly" models, lack Bluetooth or any multimedia elements like an expandable memory slot opting instead for just 4MB of internal memory.

The LG KG225 will be available on Orange in black and the LG KG220 on T-Mobile in black with silver trim from April 10.
