LG reaches 10 million Cookies milestone

Joins Shine and Chocolate on top-selling list

Well after its November 2008 launch, it seems LG's Cookie is still going strong. The Korean phone company has announced the KP500 has hit a milestone of 10 million sales.

This impressive figure has been reached less than 6 months after the 5 million milestone was hit, with LG seeing sales of roughly a million Cookies a month.

The Cookie is in fact LG's fifth phone to achieve this 10 million milestone, joining the LG Chocolate, LG Shine, LG KP100 and LG KG270, but the Cookie beat them all in terms of time taken to reach the target.

LG is currently pushing the Pop, another simple full touchscreen phone available on a PAYG basis, as the successor to the Cookie.
