Nokia has rolled out a Navigation Edition of the low-end Nokia 2710. As you might expect, it comes loaded with Nokia Maps and a GPS chip, and Nokia's calling the device its "most affordable Nokia Maps loaded, GPS-enabled phone".

It has turn-by-turn directions and voice guidance, but for developing markets where roads aren't mapped as well, it can also do point-to-point straight line navigation with an onboard compass. Maps are provided on a 2GB microSD card, so you won't need a data connection.

Elsewhere, there's a 2.2-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, FM radio and a standard headphone jack for listening to that radio. Battery life is claimed at 4.3 hours of talk-time or 18 days of standby. It's not clear how long you'll be able to navigate for.
