Google has updated its toolbar for Firefox users boosting feed integration with the Google Personalised Home and a number of other feed readers.

“We've made searching better by including previous queries, spelling corrections, and suggestions for popular choices”, a company employee wrote on the Google Blog.

Gmail fans might appreciate having the mailto: links in Firefox open a compose window in Gmail - no more copying and pasting email addresses.

And to combat the ever-increasing threat of phishing, they've integrated the Safe Browsing extension into Toolbar to alert you when a page is trying to steal sensitive information.

The new toolbar is available for both Mac, Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
