Nokia offers free apps at the Ovi Store for December

The Nokia people behind the Ovi Store have gotten a heady whiff of the Christmas spirit and are offering free apps throughout December.

Each day this month, a new app will be available to download for free for touchscreen Nokia devices, such as the 5800, N97 and the new X6.  

To find out which app is being offered gratis each day you'll need to follow the Ovi Store channel on Twitter or head over to the promotions page on the Ovi Store for details of wider offers too.

A wide range is promised including everything from Weight Tracker Touch, to Solitaire Touch via Minsweeper and Video Poker.
