While we've recently brought you news of an iPhone app that will help you moderate your drinking, here's one that will help you find more places in which to do it.

A new augmented reality iPhone app created by developer Acrossair, Le Bar Guide lets users find bars in their vicinity, and view info such as peer reviews and star ratings of the bars.

A launch from tech-happy Stella Artois, it's going live first in America, but with a "comprehensive" global roll out planned in the New Year.

Hit play on the video above for more info and to see the app in action.
