TomTom's new flagship series, the TomTom GO x50 LIVE, has gone on sale in the UK in time for the seasonal Christmas present buying frenzy.
The three portable, 4.3-inch navigation devices, the TomTom GO 950 LIVE, GO 750 LIVE and GO 550 LIVE which we brought you news and pics of from IFA, gets TomTom's IQ Routes tech and expanded LIVE Services offering - for a price.
Features include HD Traffic, safety alerts and fuel prices with the new "LIVE snapshot", Eco Routes, Map Share tech, and the addition of Malta, Greece and Turkey for the first time on Euro models.
The GO 950 gets maps for door-to-door navigation in US, Canada and 45 countries in Europe (for those I'm-just-popping-across-the-pond motoring trips?) and offers "Enhanced Positioning Technology" for what's claimed to be uninterrupted navigation even when driving through tunnels.
The TomTom GO 750 LIVE covers the 45 countries in Europe while the GO 550 LIVE just gets maps of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Pricing is £299.99, £249.99 and £229.99 while the LIVE Services are available for a flat fee of £7.99 per month.
