Rejoice, British Chumby lovers. The little Wi-Fi enabled touchscreen gadget is now on sale from Firebox, ending a 3-year drought where it was unavailable except on import from the United States.

The little device describes itself as a "streamcatcher" - displaying weather, videos, photos, Facebook, Twitter, news, and many other widgets on-demand. Those widgets and 1500 others are downloadable from the Chumby website and enterprising coders can also build their own, if they so desire.

The Chumby has an accelerometer, 2W stereo speakers and a headphone output. It's available in Black, Blue, Pearl and Latte, and costs a rather-expensive £140. Still, for a product that we rated 8/10 back in May, perhaps that's not too bad a deal?
