While here in the UK O2's exclusive on the iPhone is a distant memory, in the US it's still just AT&T that officially offers the device.
Speculation is mounting, however, that AT&T is due to lose its exclusive status and although Verizon was once suggested as the obvious choice, its recent anti-iPhone advertising has lowered its odds.
Now it's the US branch of T-Mobile that's rumoured to be the second arm of Apple's US iPhone distribution.
The Street tells 9to5Mac that "AT&T will lose its exclusive status in 2010... Apple wants to move away from exclusivity, T-Mobile would achieve this for Apple in the US".
We will keep you posted.
