Hot on the heels from the DRDB's announcement earlier today that the digital radio platform has seen 10 million sales, it's been revealed that 3 million of them belong to Imagination Technologies' Pure.

Pure has officially announced it has reached the 3 million unit milestone in its sales of digital radios worldwide. It took Pure 6 years to get to the 1 million mark in December 2006, and 3 years to triple that figure today.

As well as British sales, the figure is made up from sales in Australia and Switzerland with further international launches planned for France and the USA in the coming months.

Paul Smith, general manager, at Pure says: "We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of retail stores that stock Pure radios and, of course, all Pure radio owners. Pure's drive in the growing digital radio market continues with an ongoing strong roadmap for 2010 and beyond".
