Smartphones really are something aren’t they? You can leave the house with just one gadget that does it all now. And it does it all well.

But one thing that has been known to take the shine off many a smartphone's performance is the fact that opening up too many apps can just cripple them.

Nokia claims to have cracked that problem with the N900 and this little exploration seems to show it off nicely. Just how well it will work in the real world we’ll have to wait and see what the masses make of it.

And, as anybody who lives in a glass house will tell you: windows aren’t everything.
