Hit movies Star Trek and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen are being released as collector's editions on USB drives.

From Paramount Digital Entertainment, 20,000 of each movie will be available on a 4GB USB drive (leaving around 3GB free space) with each one getting its own identification number.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen comes on a limited edition Autobot device while Star Trek fans get a limited edition Starfleet Insignia USB.

Consumers can playback the full-length movies directly via the drive on any DivX certified device, and they can also be burnt to a DVD.

Priced at £17.99 each, Star Trek is available to buy now from Play.com and the Transformers USB will go on sale from 30 November.
