Teufel launches Impaq 40 mini Hi-Fi

Microsystem with USB connectivity

Teufel has announced a "startlingly" compact mini Hi-Fi - the Impaq 40. It has a radio, CD player, and USB connectivity too, for playing tracks off memory sticks and some MP3 players.

The Impaq's speakers pack a 25-watt punch, pushing out 88dB per watt per metre. You'll likely get complaints from the neighbours. There's also a separate connection for plugging in an optional subwoofer - which you'll have to provide yourself. The tuner has both AM and FM, along with 40 memory slots, and station names are delivered through RDS.

The Impaq 40 is available right now in a black, high-gloss design that Teufel reckons is "understated". It costs £304.
