Vestalife unveils novelty "Firefly" iPod speaker dock

Boasting a "unique attitude and personality"

Vestalife unveils novelty

12 November 2009 15:21 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Vestalife has revealed a new iPod speaker dock in the particularly novel shape of the "Firefly". Novelty it may well be, but its price tag sure ain't coming in at $129.99. For that outlay however you do get "bold personality and powerful sound".

With what are said to be "organic flowing lines that give it a unique attitude and personality" the Firefly offers fold-down speaker "wings", a built-in rear firing ported subwoofer, a digital amplifier and touch-sensitive controls.

Available in three tactile soft-touch finishes - metallic red, metallic silver and metallic black- the Firefly can be AC or battery-powered and is compatible with all dockable iPods as well as the iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS.
