WEBSITE OF THE DAY - berlintwitterwall.com

Have your say on history using this virtual wall

10 November 2009 0:00 GMT / By Stuart Miles

20 years ago the Berlin Wall came down bringing with it an end to the iron curtain and freedom to many people.

At the time the wall was covered in graffiti with people sending their message of hope for a better world.

20 years later, and people of the Web can do the same without having to take a trip to Berlin to see what's left.

Using the power of Twitter (what else did you expect) all twitterers have to do to get involved is tweet a message followed by #fotw.

Doing so throws your message up on an imaginary wall that constantly updates.

Poignant, moving, and fun it's the berlintwitterwall.com/
