Droid by Motorola goes on sale in the States

Today sees the sales kick off for the Droid by Motorola on the Verizon network in the States. 

Those that signed up for more info have received the above mailer with the somewhat quirky message as follows:

"The phone that makes you feel like a four star general with natural charisma, twelve arms and the power of mind control is here and ready to serve".

We'll keep you posted with any sales stats that are revealed and, as ever, we're on the case with news of a UK launch.
