Daily Tech Deal: LogMeIn Ignition iPhone app gets discounted

Money saving deals offers and innovations

Something for the weekend? Any iPhone or iPod touch owners may well be interested in today's tech deal, as LogMeIn is putting its award-winning Ignition for iPhone application on sale.

LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone and iPod touch normally retails at £17.99, but this weekend the app will be available at the discounted price of 11.99 via the Apple App Store. This offer is available today, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November.

Ignition for iPhone enables users to control their computers from their Apple iPhone and iPod touch when out and about, the upshot of which means that you'll never have to be away from your computer and possibly work. Although clearly of use to some, paying for the privilege of spending any more time in front of your PC might seem a little perverse.

Still, the offer is a good one and as mentioned lasts all weekend.
