Jessops has announced it has the exclusive on the new Sony Cybershot DSC-W290, a 12-megapixel compact with a Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom.Available in black or blue metal bodies, and weighing 167 grams, the W290 gets multi-face detection, anti-blink reduction, red eye reduction, smile shutter, face memory so you can pre-select the face you want to focus on, and a 16:9 "high resolution mode".
There's also "advanced Dynamic Range Optimizer technology" for the best exposure and contrast settings and in-camera retouching.
Complete with software, the Sony Cybershot DSC-W290 is available now in Jessops stores or online at www.jessops.com priced at £239. Cameras
