Tamron has announced the SP AF60mm F/2.0 Di II Macro 1:1life-size macro lens designed for DSLR cameras with APS-C size image sensors.
The lens covers an equivalent angle of view of 93mm when converted to the 35mm format and boasts a maximum aperture of F/2.0 - one stop faster than most other conventional lenses in the same class. This allows photographers to capture life-size macro shots with a "dramatically" blurred background.
The SP AF60mm F/2.0 Di II Macro 1:1 is expected to be made available in mounts for Canon and Sony cameras, and Nikon cameras with built-in AF motors.
Pricing and availability information is to be announced at a later date. Accessories
