Trek-Tech has announced the TrekPod Go! Pro, a new multi-tool for photographers that acts as a monopod, tripod and even a hiking staff.The new TrekPod weighs 800g and features Trek-Tech’s MagMount system, a quick-release mounting system which attaches a camera to the company's new "Pro ball" head using a solid magnetic connection.
This Pro ball head will hold a camera up to 13.5 lbs and utilises "Square Tooth Anti Rotation" technology to prevent the camera from rotating or sagging from its position.
In tripod mode, the TrekPod Go! Pro ranges from 39 to 57.5 inches, and in monopod and hiking staff mode it ranges from 42.5 to 62.5 inches.
When packed in its included case, the TrekPod Go! Pro will fit into carry-on luggage, at 23 x 4 x 2.5 inches.
