Geotagging photo community locr has released a plug-in for Aperture, which will allow users to upload their photos straight from the Apple program to the locr website.

With the plug-in, you'll be able to upload several photos, or even complete albums to locr, and place in new or existing locr albums.

Keywords and descriptions as well as previously added geotags will be transferred directly to locr along with the photos.

"With the availability of both plug-ins for Aperture and iPhoto, we have made a big step forward on our way to offer a seamless integration of locr in the Macintosh workflow", said Rolf Richter, CEO of locr.

Locr for Aperture 1.0 is available to download for free from the locr website, and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and above.
