Nikon has announced a firmware update for the Coolpix S60 camera, fixing a number of bugs reported by users.

Version 1.1 will see three improvements to the firmware. This includes an increase in the speed at which the displayed image changes in full-frame playback mode and a modified method to enable playback zoom in full-frame playback mode as well.

A problem that meant sound did not begin immediately when you were playing back a movie after using the HD Pictmotion function has now also been resolved.

For full details of how to download the firmware update and instructions on how to install it, head over to the Nikon website. The update is available for Windows and Mac, so make sure you choose the right one.
