Lowepro launches D-Wrap case for point-and-shoots

Wrap-on wrap-off

Lowepro has announced a new case for point-and-shoot cameras, called the D-Wrap.

The wrap-style case stays attached to the camera at all times, simply unwrapping to take a photo, and wrapping back up afterwards.

Lowepro says this design compliments the "spontaneity of today's point-and-shoot camera user".

The case includes a built-in plate with threaded key that attaches to the tripod port of most point-and-shoot cameras.

Made from stretchy, abrasion-resistant neoprene material, the cover wraps snugly around the camera body and has a Velcro closing.

The D-Wrap case will be available from the spring and will apparently fit most compact cameras on the market.
