Verbatim launches PhotoSave DVD

Archiving software to free up your hard drive

5 March 2009 14:16 GMT / By Verity Burns

Verbatim is launching a DVD that helps users to archive their photos, freeing up much needed computer hard drive space.

PhotoSave DVD has integrated software that starts automatically when the DVD is inserted into the burner, and guides the user step-by-step through the process, from choosing pictures to burning them to disk.

You can choose to have photos found automatically by the software, or opt for manual mode to find the photos you want to archive yourself, even archiving directly from a digital camera connected to your PC.

With a storage capacity of 4.5GB, the DVD can hold up to 2000 photographs in 80 different formats. Memory is constantly displayed and data volumes over maximum capacity are automatically distributed over several PhotoSave DVDs.

The PhotoSave DVD is available now in a 25-piece display box for a one-off price of £2.99.
